Becoming a home-based Travel Agent?
I'm not interested in MLM, but a company that is fully accredited through IATAN, ARC, CLIA, and members of ASTA. I'm interested in working from home, being mentored through a training program, and able to make money off of commissions. Thanks for any help!
Build a travel portal/website. Sign up travel affiliate that able to provide you all hotel and flights info and booking system. You can start earning commissions when people book hotel/flights from your website.
I think this is the easiest way to start a travel business. Good luck.

How much revenue does lead generation provide online property websites with?
Like propertyfinder.com
Hi there,
I actually run a property website called www.simple2rent.co.uk so I know a little about this subject.
For the property to rent market lead generation revenue is not really a factor. This is because those that change for services will typically get less than £100 and that does not leave much to pay for lead generation. In some cases, such as my site, it is totally free so there is no revenue to pay for lead generation.
For property websites that focus on the sales market it is a different issue. Vendors will typically pay anything from a few hundred pounds up to 1% or more for website sales. Thus for a £200K house the revenue could be anything from a few hundred to £2,000. This gives plenty for lead generation.
But there are also websites which act only as lead generation for estate agents, rightmove is an example. Here they charge the estate agents based on volume of properties advertised with payments typically per month – however there will be individual negotiations with estate agents and rightmove.
So to sum up.
Rental market – low to zero revenue for lead generation
Sales market, website based – average many hundreds of pounds per sale, thus some scope for lead generation revenues.
Sales market, website lead generators, such as rightmove. Fantastic revenue stream from estate agents.
I hope this helps.

Home based business for someone with tax background?
I have an accounting degree, specifically in taxes and looking for a home based business that fits my back ground. Any ideas?
Put your accounting head on and look at how I do my Psychic business. Then see if you can fit something similar around your own expertise. About $300 will get you started. Then all you need is a passion, some persistence, and you know that old fashioned word – w.o.r.k. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/are-you-psychic.html

I'm a 20 year old business major who recently started looking for jobs on some career websites! I found there are lots of direct marketing jobs that offer things like paid training, and opportunities for advancement, but i need to know if they are legitimate businesses, I have checked out the website, but anyone can make a good website these days, no its not an MLM as far as I can see right now, and they are not asking for any money from me! but I want to know if it is truly a money making opportunity and a way to get a foot in the door of sales and marketing, so let me know your experiences!
so you know some of the companies I've interviewed with are new direction promotions, scanno advertising, o.c. marketing and tld and associates, let me know especially if you have worked with any of these they are located in cali, they all seem to do the same type of thing
i did do research… but i thought the point of this site was to knowledge from others
Its all about who you know.
